De Holland Betta Show 2012 was wederom een groot success! In total werden er 308 show bettas bijeengebracht door 36 hobbyisten uit 7 Europese landen (Tsjechische Republiek (4x), Frankrijk (1x), Duitsland (11x), Italië (7x), Slowakije (1x), Zwitserland (2x), en Nederland (10x)). We waren erg blij zo veel leden van ons forum te mogen verwelkomen en vele (nieuwe) betta hobbyisten te ontmoeten.

Van Harte Gefeliciteerd aan alle Winnaars!!

Door de grote diversiteit van vin- en kleurvariëteiten van de vissen zijn de vissen verdeeld in 23 verschillende show klassen. Dit is een nieuw record aangezien we in 2010 en 2011 slechts 16 show klassen hadden. Een absoluut hoogtepunt van de show was het feit dat de show klasse voor Crowntail Plakat males (SC-2a) vertegenwoordigd was met 17 vissen bijeengebracht door 9 hobbyisten uit 5 verschillende Europese landen. Dit is veelbelovend voor de verdere ontwikkeling van deze relatieve nieuwe vinvorm. Een tweede hoogte punt was het feit dat een Veiltail werd verkozen tot “Best of Show male”. Door de ontwikkeling van de halfmoon, is de veiltail showklasse helaas verdwenen op veel internationale shows. Naar onze mening, laat deze vis duidelijk zien dat veiltails net zoveel show potentie hebben als elke andere vinvorm die word gepresenteerd op onze shows. We zijn daarom erg blij dat de vinvorm die zoveel hobbyisten heeft geïnspireerd in deze mooie hobby wederom is vertegenwoordigd in deze qualiteit!
